Safety Guidelines These guidelines will protect all players on Highlands MC and make sure you are safe and secure within your time with us. Community Standards Here at Highlands we tolerate kind, adventurous and open spirits, if for any reason you feel as if your time here on Highlands is being effected by someone that's not a kind, adventurous and open spirit we advise you to speak to a member of our Staff Team and we will help you from there. If for any reason you feel unsafe, hurt or even in danger currently, please do not hesitate to speak to a trusted adult or a member of staff immediately (make sure to tell them its urgent and they will respond ASAP) For safe interactions such as trade on the server (this includes: Coins, Money, Items, Products etc...) we recommend a middle man, preferably a staff member, to be apart of the transaction. To get in contact with a staff member please either open a ticket or message them directly on discord or the website. To protect a diverse community of players, we have a zero tolerance policy on any hate speech, bullying or harassment on any sort. If you are receiving any hate speech, bullying or harassment, please screenshot the conversation (In game is F2 on your keyboard or on discord and/or the website you can use a screenshot tool such as Gyazo.) then once you have screenshot it, report it immediately to our staff members.  Child Safety Even though its rare on Highlands, child safety is an issue everywhere. If you are a minor (18 or under), or even if you are a young adult, please report your findings and activity to a trusted adult/parent who will advise you on your issues. Failing that, our staff members are always open to talk and are very approachable, you can find a list of staff members at our members page on this website. (www.highlandsmc.net/members)  If you are a minor, please do not contact anyone in real life that you may meet on the server, or just online in general. If someone is trying to contact you in real life - do not tell them your person details (your name, your address, your location, your email, your passwords etc...) and then tell a trusted adult (parents/guardians and/or authorities) and then contact a staff member, who will then alert our Leadership Team and we will aid from their on out. If you are a parent and have any concerns, you can reach out either to me, druuc/Jake or Killa_2000/Josh on discord, the website, my email (jake@highlandsmc.net) or in game. Or if you can not get a hold of us, please contact a staff member on the server who will then pass along the message.  Any actions that put a child at risk will immediately be dealt with and if necessary, reported to authorities.   We, meaning myself and Josh, are currently based in the UK, but will help out anyway we can if you are in another country.
